  Great location. Unless you have trouble with stairs, I suggest you not stay on the bottom floor. Because of the hedges, that I’m sure serve a necessary purpose, you cannot see beach or water with out walking out to the observation deck, where you have to stand to see.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Capistrano. Great location to Rosemary and Alys Beach. The dog friendly apartment was perfect for our pooch as she had a nice grass area to run and we could just walk straight down to the water. Private parking space. High quality furnishings and clean unit! No beach towels included- so pack your own. But beach chairs and umbrellas are included. We will certainly return in the future!

  This is our second time staying at this location. We have two toddlers (3 and 2 years) and it was perfect. The apartment is safe and child friendly and we love that we can have them play outside in the grass area. There were only 2 "problems" but they didn't affect us directly. One being that the main shower was EXTREMELY slow to drain, but we used the hall bathroom for showers, no problem. Secondly, the internet was pretty weak. Both of these issues were addressed by the manager.
  We would love to book again, but our family is growing and we will need more space.
  We used bikes to make our way to Rosemary beach or to Big Chill. It was awesome.

  We had such a great family vacation in this lovely condo! Such convenient access to the beach. The condo was very clean and cozy! The living room was perfect for several family movie nights. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and dinnerware, be sure to bring your own spices/condiments. We had no issues and would stay again!

  Great little condo in a nice section minutes away from Alys Beach. Condo was clean and as described. Beach access is pretty although be aware there are a lot of stairs but it was fine for us. We had some WiFi issues and there were some pet stains from previous guests but management staff was responsive and helpful and checked in with us, highly recommend the company. Only other negative is the beds were uncomfortable. Overall this was a nice condo in a very nice area and we would stay here again.

  Right on the beach. We have a small dog, so wonderful being 1st floor, so we could let her out easily to a large grassy area. We biked to Rosemary Beach/Ally Beach every day. Very easy bike ride with sidewalk (5 minutes). Unit very clean. My only complaint, is showers very small. Would be concerned if elderly. Complimentary chairs (2) w/ umbrella and table on the beach every morning with our unit number on it. There are many steps going down to the beach, so this was wonderful not needing to bring chairs back and forth. Wonderful quaint space will definitely go again.

  We loved this little puece of paradise. We went with a 2 and 1 year old and it was fantastic for them. Very child friendly. No carpets or fancy things they could break. We took our bikes and rode to rosemary in about 5 min. Such a great part of our week. We booked again for next year

  We’ve stayed in this unit several times over the years but this is the first year with the new property management- Everything was great as usual.Upon check in we noticed that the air conditioning was not cooling. There was no number to call for issues posted in the condo and the reservation did not as well. We looked through emails and called the two numbers in the email signatures,, left voicemails but no one returned the calls. Luckily we remembered that Donna from Modern Beach had texted us the week before to see if we wanted to add days to the front end of our stay. We texted Donna and she was very helpful. They had the a/c repaired within one hour so we were very pleased. We’d suggest that Modern Beach put numbers in the condo or other documents telling renters who to call for after hours issues. If we hadn’t received and saved that text we may have gone overnight or the rest of the weekend without a/c in 90+ degree heat. The only other issue in an almost perfect place to stay is that the Wi-Fi works about half of the time and we had the same Wi-Fi issue the year before. We’ll definitely continue to stay in Capistrano 101.

  We really enjoyed our stay, the location, the quality furnishings. We were a little concerned about the overhead noise on a ground floor unit, and the beach access path adjacent, but the entire stay was quiet, respectful and everyone was so friendly! You can see the sea from the lanai, kitchen, living and dining room, and it's a fabulous beach! Not very crowded and although the unit has chairs and umbrella, you can also rent them on the beach. The water was amazingly clear and there is a lovely seating area you can enjoy without going down to the beach. The only suggestion I would make is to add a ceiling fan to the living room to create better air flow. if you don't like A/C, the unit gets a little stuffy, but overall, a fabulous place, with comfortable beds and furnishings and would absolutely return. Also, the management company was quite accommodating, allowing us to extend and very responsive in communicating.

  Enjoyed this little slice of paradise. The ground units are the best, as they really allow you to utilize the entire grounds. Plus, it’s great with kids and pets. The unit had a few minor issues that the rental company is aware of plan to address - nothing that stopped us enjoying our time. Would recommend.

  Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Capistrano. It is beachfront with easy access to the beach via a private walkway. Even on the patio you can hear the waves breaking against the shore. The condo was decorated beautifully and with comfortable furniture. We loved the location. Close to restaurants and shops but private and quiet.The dishwasher happened to be broken for our stay which was a bummer but the owner was very gracious and management team helpful and responsive. Our family would definitely stay again.

  Rental was clean and had everything you needed. Great views! Appreciate the garbage bags and dishwasher detergent. Internet connect was not always available. Didn’t appreciate the pesticide spraying outside while we were there actually sitting on patio. I asked for them not to and they said they had to complete the spraying.
