This second floor unit offers views for miles, a Gulf-Front Pool (Heated in the cooler months), and the classic low-rise Florida resort feel that most people are looking for. Tucked away on east-end of Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, most locals and incoming guests have never seen the complex due to its privacy. Once they've stayed in the building, it's hard to look elsewhere due to its convenient location and elite seclusion! You're just over a minute from the Silver Sands outlet mall with over 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurants. Up and down scenic gulf drive you’ll find countless restaurants and local surf shops of your choosing. The building offers a gulf front community pool, gulf front community BBQ grills (charcoal) and this unit offers complimentary beach service (2 chairs and one umbrella set up every day free of charge) available seasonally from March 1st through November 30th. This is a great feature to have so you aren’t having to carry all your chairs and umbrellas to the beach. If you are looking for a smaller complex to relax while still being close to all the action Miramar Beach/Destin has to offer, Windancer is the place to be.

This unit offers a King bed in the Master Bedroom, Hallway Bunks (2 twin beds), and a Living Area Sleeper Sofa. The full bathroom contains a stack washer/dryer, and the kitchen does have a Keurig. Enjoy amazing gulf views from your kitchen, dining area, living room, and private balcony.

We were there as Hurricane Helene passed through, a bit disappointed there was no communication from the owner regarding safety or any direction for this situation. But overall was a wonderful stay!

  Miramar Beach is the BEST!! And the condo we stayed in was wonderful. It is a corner unit on the second floor. Nicely updated and so very close to the beach with amazing views!!! Complex was nicely maintained and felt like an oasis in a very busy beach town. Very family oriented, clean and polished area. We’ll definitely be back! The only issue with the unit is that the king sized bed needs replacing, the pillows are old (just bring your own). Also know that it’s not really two separate bathrooms, it’s two toilets/sinks, but one tub/shower combo. Not a big deal for us, but good to know if more than a couple is staying. However, highly recommend!!

  I booked this one day before we left. I received a confirmation email but I was waiting on the rental codes and more info. I called and they let me know that I just needed to wait for the codes. They usually send the codes the day of the rental. I didn’t want to start the trip without the codes. They don’t want to send the codes too early because people may want to get in earlier and it could create problems. The place was perfect! We used the stairs more than the elevator because it was more convenient. The view is incredible! We ate on the balcony each day. The ocean was so beautiful. We saw dolphins and a sting ray. This rental was exactly as listed. It’s absolutely beautiful!

  Even before we arrived, management was great in providing directions finding our five day beach home and instructions for getting in and settled. Once inside, the view was awesome. The condo was even better than we expected and certainly better than the description on the website. The rooms were very clean and all the items promised were right there for us. To say that the overall experience exceeded our expectations is a huge understatement. The beach chairs and umbrellas privileges were a very special bonus. A minor maintenance issue was immediately addressed and resolved within a very short time of initial notification. The location was perfect ... the beach ... retail stores, grocery, drug stores, all within a short drive or even a nice walk. Everything was exactly like we thought it should be. We will be back again next year . . . if not before. We loved it!

  Great view! This unit is in need of some updating. Microwave is old and seen a better day. Washer/Dryer unit needs updated. The washer tube is so small, it took hours to do 2 normal size loads, I broke it them down into 5 loads. Dryer was also very slow to dry. The bed frame squeaked every time you moved. The mattress was a California King and was comfortable but the box springs were only a king so the mattress hung over on both sides. The sheets were thread bare in some spots. The bath tub drain would barely drain, but we fixed that with Mr. Plumber. We love Windancer, this was our second visit here. And we will probably stay here again, just not in Unit 212, unless there were some updates.

  We really enjoyed these accommodations, but the view really makes the experience! The king bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the 2 bathrooms came in handy for a couple. The beach access was terrific but we really felt removed from any crowds. Quiet building with mostly couples, good parking, elevator and luggage carts and grocery carts were appreciated! We would definitely consider this unit again. Washer and dryer quite small so laundry should be done in small loads. We only had 3 washcloths but 8 bath towels. We did have to buy a lightbulb for a lamp that had an empty socket, little things like this were a bit of an inconvenience, but the unit was clean and comfortable. The contact person was very communicative with us and timely with replies, we really liked that, made us feel confident that we had a place well managed.

  Great condo for young families. If you have little ones that dont need their own room, bathtub available and an easy short walk to the beach. Only thing I would change was the bed frame in the master. It’s wooden and very squeaky. We had a baby in the room with us in a pack n play & even with a sound machine, if we moved too much it would wake the baby up. Bed is comfortable, just an old frame. Overall no complaints!

  Unit description was accurate, it was clean, had great views, kitchen had everything we needed, ice maker worked wonderfully, easy access to beach. The Beach service with Brendon was fantastic. He was very personable and accommodated our requests without hesitation. Donna went above and beyond as my husband forgot his contacts and had them overnighted to her personal address to make sure they would arrive correctly. Close to several great restaurants and the outlet mall but off the main drag so you felt like you had privacy.

  This vacation rental was gorgeous and Modern Beach was very helpful. The unit was the best we’ve ever stayed and we have stayed in several different condos. Miramar is our new favorite Beach. Less crowded and this low density condo is exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend. The beds were comfortable, even the bunk beds had fabulous mattresses. The Surf Hut and The Beach House are very good beach restaurants. We traveled in May so it wasn’t crowded and not as hot as the summer months. Well stocked and plenty of supplies and towels which is always a plus so you don’t need to make a grocery run right away. There is a Winn Dixie right across the road as well as Waffle House. We will absolutely stay here again.

  We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and could not have picked a more perfect place. The view from the condo was just breathtaking. We were just steps from the beach, or pool.   We've stayed at Windancer in various units for the last 20 or so years. We like the location of the property and that it's only 48 units. No problems with parking or over-crowded beach.
  Loved the West-facing unit with great view. Outdoor balcony furniture is nice. Kitchen & bathroom countertops appear new. Property management courteous and responsive. Beach service is included which is a must for me & the beach service team were super nice & helpful.
  There were only 4 wash cloths for 2 people for 1-week stay. When I inquired, I was told this was standard but they promptly brought extra (4 more). Be prepared to do frequent laundry in tiny washer/dryer unit.
  In shower, more water flowed from spigot than shower head & the the water drained incredibly slow. When I reported it, they promptly sent a tech who replaced the spigot, fixing that issue. The water still drained very slowly which meant after a quick shower, you were standing in several inches of water, which resulted in slick, soap scum surface. The shower rod was rusty and the while the shower curtain spanned the entire opening, the liner did not. The light near the shower did not provide enough light so it was somewhat dark while taking shower. Need shower upgrade!
  There are no rugs in the entire unit. Definitely need one at entry but could use them throughout unit.
  The laminate flooring appears to be new but it does not transition from room to room at same level so expect to trip or stub toe.
  On the last day, we discovered a drain leak in the bathroom off hallway and reported it.
  Need full-length mirror.
  Should change doors in bathroom configuration to pocket/slide doors to help with space.
  All in all, we had a good stay but maintenance and improvements are needed. I appreciated the responsiveness of the property managers and if they correct the items mentioned as quickly as they repaired the issues, the unit will be above par soon.
