Situated on Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Blessings is the perfect beachfront hub for families and friends. The home has five bedrooms and can accommodate up to twenty-two beach ready guests, and with its own private beach steps and vast pool area (26X12), you can quickly enjoy a freshwater dip, or take a stroll down the beach in no time.

When you enter the main living area with its airy loft styling, the additional windows welcome in the sun and brighten the entire space. Multiple patio doors lead out the deck, with emerald hued waters and sugary sands as far as the eye can see. Here you can sip on your drinks and enjoy the sunset, taking in the beach breeze air. The sitting area has a large blue sofa that can convert into a king sleeper when the cushions are rearranged, and two tan lounge chairs. The colors playfully match the tropical themed rug. This seating flags the wall mounted flat screen TV. Nearby, the kitchen has bright white cabinetry and stainless-steel appliances, with two islands ready for your next family feast. The dining room table is nearby that comfortably seats eight, while an additional table around the wall can seat 3 more for meals or games.

The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and features a king size bed with a full bathroom with patio doors that lead straight to the beachfront deck. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor as well, with one room housing two twin beds and full bath, while the other room houses two twin bunks with a half bath. Head up the open stairway to the galley and there are 2 sleeper sofas. At each end of the galley, there are two additional bedrooms. One contains two full sized beds, and one has a king-sized bed. Both have full bathrooms.

Blessings is also a key location to all the hot spots Santa Rosa Beach has to offer. Nearby is Gulf Place, a hub for localized coffee shops bistros and restaurants, art and a wine shop. Across the street from Gulf Place is Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar, with amazing views of the beach and water from its location. Golf courses are here too. A short distance away is Santa Rosa Beach Club with an eighteen-hole golf course tucked away in this wonderful beach location. You can experience all of this and more, as you explore all the other beach communities Scenic Highway 30A has to enjoy.

POOL HEAT
A $50.00 per day fee is added to reservations booked between October 1st - April 30th for Pool Heat. If you prefer to have an unheated pool, please email or call after booking and the fees will be immediately refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: The pool cannot be heated if it is below 52 degrees or above 80 degrees. As your stay gets closer, we will do our best to keep you informed of the forecast during that time period. We will immediately refund you if conditions do not allow for this.

COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE
Beach Service is provided seasonally from March 1st - October 31st, weather permitting, and is only offered during regular business hours until 5pm. This service at this property includes 3 umbrellas and 6 beach chairs!

You will find everything you need in the property to make the most of your time on the Emerald Coast. We offer a starter kit of premium, eco-friendly guest amenities including: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body and Face Soap, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissues, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Pods, Laundry Detergent, Paper Towels, Trash Bags, Dish Sponge, Bath Towels, and Bed linens.

  We enjoyed our stay , location is great, but house needs repair's. The air never cooled the house. We kept all doors shut and curtains closed to keep the house as cool as possible. We had to utilize all the fans in every closet.
  The front porch railing was not secure. This could be a big safety hazard. The steps going down to the beach 2 boards were not nailed down and one entire step is missing. They have exposed nails over by the water hose. Sink in master bathroom doesn’t drain well. Microwave handle was broken. Back door handle came off several times. Overall the location was great but lots of safety concerns.

  We looked at the pictures before and thought the view could not be real. When we opened the front door, the view was amazing. Windows across the back looking out at the emerald coast. Wow! The kitchen and living area were a great place to hang out with that view. Once you stepped out onto the back porch the view got even better! Loved the easy access to and from the beach and the beach chairs set up daily. Our only critique, the place is not as new as those around it and shows its age a bit.

  Let’s start out by saying we truly loved the property. If you are looking for something ultra modern, new, with the Instagram aesthetic - this isn’t for you. This is more of grandma and grandpas beach cottage. Could the property use some TLC? Sure. HOWEVER to get 5 bedrooms, directly on the beach, with a private heated pool and walking distance to shops/restaurants in Santa Rosa Beach for this price it can’t be beat. We are typically Marriott people, but we would stay here again in a heartbeat and absolutely plan on coming back.

  Our 3 generation family fell in love with Blessings. You cannot beat the location and those amazing views . The house is large, open and airy with big bedrooms and space for everyone without getting in people’s way.
  We loved the pool as well. It was wonderful to have the choice of a day at the beach or the pool and most days we did both. We loved the beach service with 6 chairs and 3 umbrellas.
  I can not say enough about Donna. She is fantastic, totally on her game with such quick responses with any questions or concerns we had.
  I am actually booking again for next year and hope to make Blessings a yearly family tradition.

  Loved that this home was directly on the beach and had a pool. We paid for the pool to be heated but did have some issues with the heater not working. They did send someone out quickly to address that issue. We all were expecting a bit more from the home, such as updates throughout, being provided with more than one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, papertowel and there were no boxes of kleenex. We had to ask management for kitchen towels since there wasn't any and we quickly ran out of spoons with 11 people staying. Management provided the towels, new sharp knives (current knives were so dull) and a lighter (grill starter is broken) quickly. The bathrooms need a full gut job and kitchen as well. Refrigerator was missing drawers/shelves, some windows can't see out of and the inside stairs and railing were chipping and very sticky. A screen door and screens in the kitchen windows would be nice to let some fresh air in too. Wear shoes on the deck or else you could get a huge splinter. Some boards are rotten and paint chipping. The back bathroom is a bit creepy and my kids wouldn't go in it. We feel the best part about this home is the location, the beach service with chairs and umbrellas, and that it has a pool. We would rent it again if it were updated. I would recommend for the location but if willing to spend a bit more, you could rent an updated home in the same area.

  We had a lot of trepidation about Blessings based on prior reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised - a lot of work has been done to restore the property. All the furniture was either new or in good working order. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking even complex meals and the appliances worked. But nothing edible - not even salt and pepper - is provided. The house itself is spacious, bright, clean and clutter free with great views - and of course, just steps from the beach. Most beds, not all, are comfortable. The rental company provides beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels, and the pool was well heated. Donna, at the rental company, was also quick to reply to questions/texts.
  
  One safety issue that needs addressing: The front door's top latch does not work, so our 3-yr old was able to open the front door and go outside where the pool is located. There are also a number of minor broken things around the house - we left a list - but none of them impeded our enjoyment of the property or needed immediate attention. The walls are thin and noisy neighbors on one side (it's a house that sleeps 28) were an issue until we requested them to turn down the music after 10pm. But the neighborhood is quiet. The porch is in bad condition splinter-wise: both kids got splinters, so be careful! It would also have been nice if the windows opened (esp bedrooms), but they are all painted shut or locked.

  When we pulled up to Blessings we were a bit skeptical...the outside needs some TLC but when we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised! The furniture has been recently replaced with ample seating for all. The bedrooms were very comfortable with great mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped. The inside was not plush but comfortable and clean. The location was fabulous with just steps to the beach. The pool was excellent and heated... the grandkids swam before breakfast everyday. Donna was a delight to work with on just a couple of issues. She was quick to respond. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Really the only negative was the condition of the outside.... landscaping, paint, windows, outdoor shower...all need some attention.

  House was conveniently located with walking access to restaurants and stores. It was right on the beach. It had ample room for our eight (8) adults without it ever feeling crowded. House is in need of some updating and repairs.Bathrooms were run down and cabinets need to be replaced. Rear deck and stairs to beach need to be replaced. Front stairs are dangerously rotted out and need to be replaced.

  I want to start by saying we enjoyed our stay at Blessings. This was the first time to rent a stand-alone house, so in fairness I do not know what the "going rate" is. But for our $16K, we were disappointed with the condition of the property & furnishings..
  
  The kitchen table & chairs were good. Everything else seemed to be broken or straight out of Goodwill & there was not enough furniture for such a large space. The mattresses were uncomfortable, the sofa/loveseat was gross, some of the furniture (inside & out) was broken. No hangers in any of the closets, not enough bathroom towel bars/hooks for extended stays, insufficient lighting in the living room (at night), broken window seals making it difficult to see outside very well, doors that stuck or jammed, unreachable lighting in bunk room, the outdoor faucet handle was handy for rinsing off right by laundry room, but the handle had nearly rusted away & was sharp, overgrown stairway to beach.
  
  It was nice having 2 refrigerators & the new washer/dryer. It was nice that we didn't have to worry about tearing anything up because it was pretty rough already. Again, we enjoyed our stay--the location is fantastic, the space in the house in great (NOT for 22 as advertised!). Donna was very helpful & extremely quick to respond (allowing us a little early entry!)
  
  But for that price point, it seems a bit more should be invested to update and make improvements, both cosmetic & necessary. I'd be cautious about recommending to friends & family who could afford that weekly expense because I know the furnishings & overall outdated condition of the house would not be a good fit for most of them. Blessings was a fun stay, but is in desperate need of some TLC...then we would love to come stay again!

  The location is perfect and we loved having our own pool. Having 6 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas set up daily for us was so convenient! The house is well stocked with plenty of beach towels. The washer and dryer are new and got a lot of use during our stay. The management company was responsive and resolved a few small maintenance issues. The house is large and we loved that everyone had their own space. I would suggest adding more places to sit in the living room as our party of 10 couldn’t all comfortably sit together. The house is older and reminiscent of the 1980’s but it’s reflected in the price. It is very hot during the day, air units looked older. But you can’t beat the view and proximity to the beach.

  Blessings Home was perfectly located! Being on the beach and close to shops and restaurants and a Publix was fantastic. The Only problem was that the furniture / washer dryer/ and some bathrooms things were beat up and in need of updating. We had 12 people and there wasnt enough seating it seemed for eating and in the family room. Maybe barstools around the island would be nice and the furniture truly needs to be replaced. Overall the location is phenominal!!! we would stay again if updated!

  This beach house has it all...a gorgeous gulf view, a large heated pool, and a location that can't be beat. Walking down the steps from the expansive porch to the beach, we found a full setup of 6 beach chairs and umbrellas waiting for us each day. In addition, a large heated pool was a hit with everyone. Even though the house was older and somewhat dated, it suited us perfectly as it was immaculate, the internet was fast, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfectly situated with many phenomenal restaurants and quaint shops just across the street in Gulf Place. Communication with Donna from Modern Beach Vacation Rentals was instantaneous as she checked with us frequently to make sure we were comfortable and experiencing no difficulties. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting an affordable beachfront home with a topnotch rental company.
